Here is an intro text that explains what’s at stake and what we can look forward to. Maybe Liverpool has been in good form and Arsenal in bad form? Or maybe some major players have been injured?

Whatever it is, we should hype it up a bit here and maybe “tease” some good betting tips we might be looking at, so that people will read on.

Liverpool

Two of the top five in the Premier League meet in the last sixteen of the EFL Cup. Liverpool top the league and have already beaten fifth placed Arsenal once at home this season. A very different set of line-ups will compete this match though. Liverpool have won the EFL Cup more times than any other club with eight victories. The last of those came in 2012 with only one final since then three years ago. Jurgen Klopp isn’t a massive fan of the domestic cup competitions in the UK, he wants to win the Premier League and Champions League. Four of their last five games in the EFL Cup have been lost, including the last two played at home.

Here is some more information in case you wanted us to babble on some more. Not everything needs to be related to the tip, fun facts and other stuff is cool too, or just funny stuff. Adding memes or links to previous events is cool too.

Arsenal

Arsenal had a disappointing home draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday, giving away a 2-goal lead. That’s the second time they’ve done that this season, remember that if they miss out narrowly on a top four finish. They have won this competition just twice, the last win being in 1993. Arsenal continue to have problems on their travels with only one win in their last five. Already this season, they have lost 3-1 to Liverpool making it nine games without a win against them. 11 of the last 13 games between these two clubs have seen both teams score. That looks the best bet here.

You can also add other media stuff wherever that might be relevant, for example Twitter cards or gifs (see above).

Injury List

  • Mohammed Salah (Knee)
  • Jordan Henderson (Flu)
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Nose)

Our Predictions

Here we discuss how we think the match will unfold and what to expect. Will there be a high scoring or lower scoring? Why? Is it a derby and thus can we expect lots of cards?

Based on our expectations, we should list some odds and bets that we like based on that, in addition to the “main” bet that will come after this section to round it out.

Betting Tip
